OICCI, established in 1860, is the oldest Chamber in Pakistan, and houses a number of multinationals and foreign investors.

Both sides highlighted the possibility of working together in connecting the Third Country companies with Chinese Enterprises for attracting FDI in various sectors, including Petroleum, Automobiles, Pharmaceutical, Mines and Minerals among others.

In this regard, BOI offered to hold awareness sessions regarding the CPEC Industrial Cooperation and Third Country Participation in CPEC for sensitizing the Foreign Investors and the Pakistani businesses about the opportunities in CPEC and multilateral cooperation.

The PD, CPEC-ICDP highlighted, in the framework agreement signed between Chairman China National Development & Reforms Commission and BOI. China has agreed to Relocate Industries to Pak & transfer technology. The 3rd country participation in SEZs has also been encouraged.

The BOI presented Pak China Business & Investment Forum, established by APCEA & BOI, with support of Chinese Embassy & appreciated by President Xi Jinping in Pak China Joint Statement. Similar initiatives may be taken with chambers for increasing B2B exchanges between Pak & China.

Similarly, the Pak China B2B Investment Portal developed by BOI with China Council for International Investment Promotion was discussed. The AS @KhashihRehman encouraged Pakistani entrepreneurs to register on http://pakb2binvestmentgrid.com , for matchmaking with Chinese investors.

The Project Director, PMU-CPEC-ICDP presented about 30 Chinese Enterprises and there projects, prepared by BOI's PMU on CPEC Industrial Cooperation. These projects are ready for collaboration with the Pakistani Businesses.
